AC Marine is operating from the old Hucks Boatyard in Molesey on the upper river Thames. Admittedly not an ideal location for sailing barges, some 15 bridges beyond the sea, but a pleasant and convenient location for a barge yard. We are situated just below bridge to Tags Island on the north side of the river. About 45min cruise gets you from Teddington. It is also very easy to get to us by road. For boats based or cruising on the none tidal Thames, the Environment Agency requires a license for navigation. We will arrange a FREE river license for you which you can pick up at Teddington lock to provide free travel to Molesey. Should you require to live aboard while in the yard with your barge, we will provide you with all necessary facilities such as water, electricity as well as a parking space for your car.
We provide qualified BSS examiners and CORGI registered gas installers.
